Adam Scherr- Founder and President
Scherr has been an actor and writer for fifteen years in New
York and Paris. His play, "THIS IS THIS," was directed
by Academy Award winner, Ron Nyswanner Best Screenplay-"PHILADELPHIA").
After receiving training at Lee Strasburg Theater Institute,
he appeared in numerous Off-Broadway plays including, Juror
10 in "TWELVE ANGRY MEN," Tom in "THE GLASS MENAGERIE"
and Mr. Oxenby in "THE DRESSER." As a writer/producer,
Scherr's current projects are "TRUST THE MEN" with
Alan Cumming and "EGG N THE HOLE." TTM is slated for
production in spring '04. EGG is based on Scherr's family in
Baltimore. It is about a young black girl's rise to become the
matriarch of a Jewish family. Scherr is also the producer behind
Pulitzer nominated writer, Jack Zeman's projects "GRIFFINS
GHOST" and "THE REAL MCCOY" both of which won
the Writers Guild East Award. Scherr is also honored to be a
producer on an untitled murder mystery by writer/director, Anika
Burt and writer, Esther Alix both of Spirit Guide Films.
Jeff MacNutt- Partner, VP Development
Jeff is a program and project development executive with
a BA in Radio, Television and Film from Wake Forest University
and fifteen years experience in developing and executing
business plans and processes. Among his accomplishments
is the creation
of a national childhood literacy resource network. In conjunction
with Scholastic Books, he produced a communications campaign
and created a distribution network, receiving funding from
Hasbro Children's Foundation, Citicorp, Vivendi Universal,
and other private contributors. Recently, Jeff planned and
executed successful start-up capitalization for a new
interactive
media company. For Pikesville Films, he provides the leadership
necessary to respond to the unique requirements of both
creative
and financial stakeholders. He is currently writing Trust
the Men with Adam Scherr, as Pikesville's next production

Robin Mathiesen- Head of Production
Robin's career spans the breadth of film, television and
theatre. She has been involved in every aspect of creative
production
for an impressive list of more than 50 projects, including
The Emmy Awards, Showtime at the Appollo, Louis Malle's
American
Dream, The Sound of Music, and West Side Story to name a
few. Robin brings impeccable budgeting, coordination,
and scheduling
capabilities in planning projects for Pikesville Films, and
will serve as Unit Production Manager for Aunt Mary. Back

Jack Zeman - Writer
Jack Zeman is a Broadway playwright/director whose first play,
PAST TENSE, was Pulitzer-nominated and was awarded the Stanley
Drama Award. Since its Broadway debut at Circle-in-the-Square
Uptown, the play has enjoyed countless regional theater productions
across the country and abroad. At various times, the play
has attracted the talents of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward,
Ellen Burstyn and Michael Higgins, George Grizzard and Barbara
Baxley, Laurence Luckinbill and Barbara Feldon, Angela Lansbury
and Edward Albee.
Mr. Zeman staged his second play, FUNNY PAPERS, at Harbor
Repertory Theatre in New York City; establishing a home there
as Director and Playwright-in-Residence -- as well as serving
on their Board of Advisers. Mr. Zeman staged a dozen productions
there including Paul Zindel's THE EFFECTS OF GAMMA RAYS ON
MAN-IN-THE-MOON MARIGOLDS, and his own ASYLUM FOR A BROKEN
DOLL.
Mr. Zeman then formed his own production company in association
with Jujamcyn Theaters and later moved on to the Shubert Organization.
From there, Mr. Zeman joined the staff of CBS Television Development.
During his time at CBS, he wrote his first screenplay, THE
REAL McCOY: winner of the Writers Guild East Competition.
After leaving CBS TV development, he wrote GRIFFIN'S GHOST;
his second screenplay, also a winner of the Writers Guild
East Competition.
Mr. Zeman now lives in Woodstock, New York and has written
his first novel. Back

Anika Burt- Writer/Director
Filmmaker Anika Burt began her career at the University of
Florida, where she starred in productions of "Twelfth Night",
"Etta Jenks" and "Mount Holyoke". Directing was apart of
the curriculum at UF; there, Ms. Burt came into her own.
She directed
Ariel Dorfman's "Death and the Maiden" as her senior project.
After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre
Performance, Ms. Burt was cast in the ABC Made for Television
Movie "In the Blink of an Eye" with Mimi Rodgers and Veronica
Hamel. After being accepted to Columbia University's MFA
Directing
program, Ms. Burt opted instead to fulfill her dream of directing
films. The short film, "begin again", is the result with
many more films yet to come. Back

Esther Alix- Writer-Producer
Esther Alix, on the other hand, stumbled onto filmmaking
by happenstance. Ms. Alix attended Hunter College in NYC
and
moved forward into a life of writing. Ms. Alix discovered
her versatility as a writer in her poetry, short stories,
essays and vignettes that capture womanhood with sharp wit
and clarity. Ms. Alix is a founding member of the writing
group Voxvocis, that performed monthly readings at various
locations throughout the city. Ms. Alix has help produce
events
with philanthropist, Anne Helen Hess, for grassroots nonprofit
organizations, as well as local and national politcians,
such
as Hilary Rodman Clinton. Having caught the producing bug,
Ms. Alix co-produced "begin again" as well as
the video essay for the Director's contest of Project Greenlight
that landed the dynamic duo in the Top 50 out of over 1,700
